One way to pull together a drab outfit, jacket, or even a necklace is to add a pin. And we know you have some lurking in the bottom of your jewelry box, right? I have pins that came attached to blouses long discarded. One of my favorite pieces of jewelry is a pin my mom gave to my grandmother over 60 years ago. Make sure to wear your pin on a sturdy fabric to avoid pulling or leaving a hole. If I'm driving, I wear mine on the right side to accommodate the shoulder seat belt. Pins look great attached to multi-strand necklaces such as pearls. They can be worn on hats, scarves or shawls. I just added a pin to an old beaded purse to add interest and I love the way they jazz up a denim jacket. A glitzy rhinestone pin can turn a daytime garment into evening wear. Pins seem to come in and out of "fashion," but smart gals can feel confident when displaying their own unique sense of style! Happy pinning - Pat.
