I love a good product that can work as a multi-tasker. Don't you? This liquid soap from L'Occitane is just one of my very favorites. I have extremely sensitive skin and this doesn't bother me at all. In fact the shea butter combined with the aloe product makes it perfect for my needs. Have you tried this one? ~Cathy

Yes, the calendar may announce September's arrival, but it's still blazing hot and humid here. Fall weather is a long time away. We've posted about this product before, but I love it so much I thought it deserved an encore appearance. Just spray this on your face and you will quickly notice a smoother, cooler and more hydrated complexion. It smells divine too! ~ Cathy

A summer glow is such a nice fringe benefit of spending time at the beach or poolside. But to fully enhance the look, this NARS body glow has always been my favorite. It is a little pricey so I use it sparingly and it lasts for months. Plus it smells incredible! ~ Cathy.
I really like several of Trader Joe's beauty products, & on a recent trip I came across their new hand cream, so I thought I'd give it a go. This cream is great. It's thick, & feels very rich, but without being greasy. It actually reminds me a lot of the much more expensive L'Occitane hand cream, but at a much lower price point! ~ Andrea.
Moisture... I can't get enough. I have tried all sorts of crèmes and lotions to address my oh so dry skin. While some work well enough, I end up going back to the Body Shop Body Butter again and again. I like the Coconut and Mango, but my favorite is the Almond scent. And the best news... they are easy on sensitive skin and not at all expensive! ~ Cathy.

At the end of a long day, are you tempted to roll into bed sans cleaning your face? Shame on you! Really, there is no excuse for that. In days of old, I would at least rub over a washcloth over my made up face, but now, I absolutely love having a good alternative to doing the lazy route. Face wipes are my favorite end of day staple, but the Simple versions are the only ones that I trust to not irritate my skin and they are super cheap too! They work for all skin types. ~ Cathy.
Once I get in gear to start working out, I have to have a really great product to get me in the mood to then get me in the shower. My very favorite shower product has to be this one. Who wouldn't adore a body wash that smells of rosemary? It is absolutely intoxicating. ~ Cathy.
I always used to think that if I used a wash cloth to help my facial cleanser do its job that I was really on top of my skin care. How wrong I was. I must strongly recommend this Clarisonic product that my mom bought for me a while back, It takes virtually no time, really makes a huge difference in my complexion and feels divine. And P.S.... I bought one in a masculine gray color for my husband. He loves it too! ~ Cathy.
I don't know about you, but this time of year is the most challenging for my skin. Between the changeable weather, hectic schedules, frequent traveling and often evenings with cocktails and rich foods, my skin quickly gets fatigued and dehydrated. My favorite way to address these issues is to drink as much water as I can manage, exercise often and use a variety of masks. This old school style mud mask version from GlamGlow has been a huge help. Let us know if you have a favorite mask. ~ Cathy.
I am fairly certain that I will not be buying any Versace garments in the near future, so boo hoo... but I can most definitely snap up this lovely fragrance from the fashion house. It is just a very provocative and lovely scent and perfect for the holiday season. Have a great Thanksgiving and Happy Shopping! ~ Cathy.
Remember when your grandmother lived by the mysterious powers of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly? I spotted this mini jar at my local drug store and immediately thought, "How cute!" It's actually lip therapy, and feels quite good in this colder weather. Bonus points for such a cute little container! ~ Pat.
The older I get the more it seems like a bad idea to manually scrub at the skin on my face to get rid of those dead cells. Maybe it's just me but it's starting to feel a bit too rough when I use a physical scrub. However, I still want to make my skin look fresh so I've been using face peels which dissolve the skin cells rather than scrub them off - yes, it sounds gross, but they do the job! My favorite one, that I've been using for about 18 months now, is this Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel. It tingles while it's on, and my face is PINK afterwards, but it is also very smooth and feels so much better. I also use it my décolletage and the backs of my hands! What's your favorite peel? ~ Andrea.
...but since here in Houston, it is not remotely cool enough for boots and tights on a regular basis, what is the solution for pasty legs in order to wear dresses and skirts sans any type of hosiery? I posted about this product a while back, but I think it is definitely worth a revisit. Sally Hansen makes a spray that is like foundation for your legs. It creates a smooth look and also adds a bit of color. The way I use it is to shave my legs very carefully, then apply a liberal amount of lotion, then an oil spray and wait for a bit. Once all of this moisture has soaked in well, then I spray the product onto my hands and quickly rub it on my legs. But be careful...wash your hands immediately and watch where you direct the nozzle as it can spray beyond where you intended. The good thing is that it washes off when you are ready to remove it. It is one of my favs...~ Cathy.
So, the eyes are the very first place to show one's age, right? Without resorting to some kind of drastic measures, what is a gal to do in order to freshen up that key area? These eye patches have been an amazing addition to my beauty arsenal. They are so easy to slap on after refrigerating them for a bit. They really, really make a difference. ~ Cathy.
I love going into Sephora. It is most definitely a product-junkie paradise! Last time I popped in to pick up a new facial mask to address my sun parched skin, I found a treasure trove of new options. The latest are these sheet masks. For a one time use, these tackle a myriad of issues and range from the uber-cheap to very pricey. They have gotten very popular in South Korea a while back and trickled into virtually almost every line. And as all skincare product lovers know South Korean skincare products are white hot now! ~ Cathy. Here are a few I am trying:
Okay, so are you feeling oh so parched by the heat wave we are all dealing with in these dog days of summer? If so, one of my favorite products that I previously spoke about has become my very best "go-to" item of late. I put this spray in the refrigerator and then apply liberally during these hot, hot days. If you haven't picked this one up, I promise you, it is so worth it! ~ Cathy.
Once the thick of summer kicks in, I typically go on a hunt for a new fragrance. These are the ones that I am most excited to try. I lean toward a more earthy, woodsy scent instead of florals and really love that the 3 that I am posting here are not ones that not the whole world wears. It's nice to have that little mystery, right? Do you have a favorite summer fragrance? ~ Cathy.
